Shivaji’s Rajmudra, also known as the royal seal or emblem of Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire, bears the inscription “Shri Raja Shiv Chhatrapati” in Devanagar i script. This means “Shri King Shiv Chhatrapati” in English. The emblem also includes an image of a bow and arrow, which symbolizes the martial spirit and valour of the Maratha king.
