BHARAT KE CHARGER: A BOOK TO RECHARGE THE FUTURE OF INDIA
KDM India launches an inspiring movement for young readers at Maya Public High School, Mashobra Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

In a landmark celebration of education, inspiration and nation-building, KDM India soft-launched its innovative and patriotic book “Bharat Ke Charger” at Maya Public High School, Mashobra. The event highlighted the power of storytelling in shaping young minds and reinforced the belief that the future of India lives in its classrooms and villages.
Over 700 students and parents attended the event, filling the school grounds with excitement and pride. The occasion was graced by Mr. N.D. Mali, Founder – KDM India, Mrs. Tia Mali, Ms. Manisha Mange Ruparel – Chief Strategy Officer, KDM India. The school’s Chairman, Shri Harish Sharma, and Sports Head, Shri Amar Thakur, along with faculty and trustees, warmly welcomed the guests and expressed heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Mali’s presence as the Chief Guest.
During the ceremony, over 150 students were honored with awards, including 18 National Championship participants and 2 International-level participants, making it a proud milestone for the school and the entire region.
A 50-Story Treasure of Inspiration for Young India
Bharat Ka Charger is a powerful collection of 65 short, two-page inspirational stories, capturing the extraordinary journeys of India’s greatest icons — freedom fighters, scientists, innovators, sports legends, artists and cultural heroes.
Inspired by the iconic Bal Bharti textbook format, the book aims to rekindle a love for reading among children at a time when digital screens dominate early childhood attention.
These stories are the charger of emotions, inspiration and the Vision of Viksit Bharat.
The book introduces young readers to role models such as:
- Mahatma Gandhi, who charged India with Ahimsa and Non-Violence
- Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who charged youth with science, dreams and discipline
- Kapil Dev, who charged a nation with leadership and confidence
It encourages every child to dream boldly and become the next Bharat Ka Charger, contributing to Viksit Bharat 2047, the development vision led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji.
More than a Book - A National Movement
The initiative is an extension of KDM’s Bharat Ka Charger campaign, which promotes Make in India through the 100% indigenous manufacturing of KDM mobile chargers.
